Having formally studied design in Beijing, Milan and Seattle, Christine brings a truly international perspective to each of her design projects. She began her career in Shanghai and has also worked in ShangHai, Hong Kong and Australia; since relocating to the Pacific Northwest, Christine has completed more than 100 full home designs.
But no matter which continent Christine is working on, her approach remains consistent. “I take the time to understand my clients needs to create a lifestyle for them, transforming their interior spaces into personalized, functional and elegant ones,” she says. “By spending time with my clients, I interpret their style and work closely with them to ensure their complete satisfaction.”

When she's not on a project or in a class, Christine enjoys Latin dancing, discovering new foods and writing for travel magazines.

If you are looking for interior design ideas, particularly for the first time, I highly recommend Christine Wang at Seldens Designer Home Furnishings in Bellevue. I've always thought I had relatively good design sense. But after a year-and-a-half of lock-down and working from home, I felt the place was looking a little blah. But I'd been procrastinating. On a whim one Saturday, I walked into Seldens and met Christine. I explained what I'd been thinking, and she got it immediately. She asked a lot of questions and took the time to get to know what I like and don't like. I appreciated that she listened and worked with me to propose a range of solutions that seemed to work for me and helped me prioritize what would give me the most 'bang for the buck'. She didn't propose a radical makeover but rather a smart choice of options that had the impact. And she was able share examples from other projects she'd completed so I could see how some of the ideas she was suggesting would look in my place. I went from hesitant to excited, and I can hardly wait for everything to get the first phase of my spruce-up project implemented. I started out thinking I didn't really need a designer per se. But thanks to Christine Wang's help and the resources at Seldens, I wouldn't start a project without consulting with her first.

I found Selden online while I was browsing furniture stores in downtown Bellevue. After reading previous reviews, I decided to give it a try. And, I am so glad that I did! Seldens is an upscale furniture store. All furnitures are from designer brands and they are beautifully crafted. My best experience with Seldens is their interior designer, Christine Wang. Christine is very friendly and professional. She listened to my needs and helped me to find furnitures that were high quality, beautiful while within my budget. She is amazing when it comes to helping me vision the design of my place and explaining the concepts behind her design. I am very satisfied with the outcome and I would definitely recommend Christine if you are looking for some help with picking furnitures to have a cohesive/complete design of your place.
我今年5月份买的房子, 看了很多家具公司最后敲定了这家公司。第一是因为, 看这家公司规模大, 代理了1百多个大家具品牌, 家具质量不是那种廉价货色。第二, 是觉得这个公司比较正规, 是一家美国人开的公司, 但是也有中国设计师。后来家具到后, 果然没有让我失望。首先是因为这个设计师Christine很好沟通, 会根据你的需求再结合她的专业知识进行符合你要求又能给你惊喜的设计, 认真负责, 有什么不懂的需要改的会及时回复你。 第二, 设计师能把审美和实用结合的很好, 太贵的不实用的会劝我别要, 有的贵的但是她说好的, 我真正用到之后觉得确实物有所值。第三, 这个家具公司服务很好, 所有家具会上门帮我安装, 不需要我费心。当时有几把椅子到家后相对于桌子来说太高了, 坐着可能没那么舒适, Christine二话不说主动说帮我再重新定, 也没有找我多收钱。总之, 省时省力省心, 我庆幸选了这家公司和这个设计师。
